Tribal Welfare Club, the first of its kind in colleges in Chennai City conducts various awareness and educative programmes to the tribal communities of Tiruvallur District with special emphasis on Rangapuram, adopted village of the College.

Report on Inauguration of Seetha Cunnan Tribal Welfare Club on 19.02.2018    

 The DRBCCCHinduCollege on 19.02.2018 Inaugurated Seetha Cunnan Tribal Welfare Club. Nearly 100 Tribal People attended from Rangapuram and JJ Nagar attended the Program. The Club was inaugurated by The Secretary, Principal, and Director and Chief Guest Mr. P.Subramaniam Director, Tribal Research Centre OOty. The Skit and Mime was performed by M.S.W students explaining the health & Hygiene concepts of Tribal People. The main aim of starting tribal welfare club is to advocate Tribal People and making them aware of the welfare & Schemes available with the Government. The Lunch and Refreshment were also provided to tribal People.
