History of the department

History

PG department of commerce was established in the year 2004-05. The department started to function as a separate department from 2011-12. The students in take for every academic year is 40. The department consistently produces university rank holders from the year of its inception

RECENT TRENDS IN E-BANKING

P.G and Research department of Commerce conducted Guest Lecture for the Second Year B.Com Students on the topic ‘RECENT TRENDS IN e-BANKING’ on 27th August 2018. Mr. ANTON AROLIN NARESH, Vice President, Royal Bank of Scotland, addressed the students. The program was inaugurated by Dr.V.Lakshmi, Principal and Dr.N.Ranjendra Naidu, Director Centre for Research and Development. Prof.U.Parthiban, HOD of Commerce gave welcome address. The program was coordinated by S.Malarvizhi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. Staff and students who attended the program appreciated the lecture by giving positive feedback.
