History
The Department of BBA was established in the year 1996-97. With the consistent efforts of the dedicated faculties the department has reached the full strength of 70 from the year 97-98 awards.
The BBA degree was designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional areas of a corporate company to build emerging business leaders on professional and theoretical knowledge, it was effectively intended for today business environment, the highlights of the BBA courses students can expose to a variety of core subject such as human resource management, financial management, marketing, production management and allow students to specialize in a specific academic area. The degree also develops the student’s practical managerial skill, communication skills, and business decision-making ability, marketing strategy and also to prepare appropriate business documents.
The Department is trying to enhance the knowledge through institutional training in public or private limited company and they have to submit a group project report, practical experience in the form of case study, project presentation, industrial visit, and interaction with experts from the industry and thereby provide an avenue for job opportunities and professional growth. The faculty of the department is committed to creating a conducive and dynamic learning environment.The Students make use of Commerce Lab for their practical knowledge.

DYNAMIC LECTURE
A dynamic Lecture presented to our students in the topic “Changing Role of Managers in the Competitive Corporate World” on 18th DEC 2018.
The special resource person:Dr. A.Chandra Mohan ,Registrar Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD)Govt of India.
Through the lecture the students knowledge enhanced about role of corporate managers.
MANAGEMENT DAY
Management day was celebrated on 14th august 2018 the day celebrated on the birth anniversary of C.K.Prahalad he was the Indian “guru of management”. The program motive to create awareness about management concept among students. On the day Chief Guest came from IRTC Dr.K.P.Mani,.Ph.D on “Management Concepts on Bhagavath Gita”. He deliver the speech to the students on same topic. The student easily understood the concept of management through this unique programme.

To include the leadership skill among student community with this motive we frame student represent posting name as.
The posting names we framed for students Leaders as CEO, DEO, HR Manager, Risk Manager, Financial Manager, Strategic Manager, Operation Manager, Team Manager, Relationship Manager, and Event Manager.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT
We went to the Grandfos pumps industry on 26th September 2018.it is an international industry “Grundfos is also one of the world leading pump manufacturers with an annual production of more than 16 million pump units”.
MANAGERIAL MANIFESTATION
Our BBA Department – prestigious function every year we conduct managerial manifestation last year on Feb 7th 2018 at cunnan auditorium. It is an intercollegiate function arranged formal get together of student’s community to share of knowledge .
This function its created good reputation to our college and BBA Department in addition the program enchance the students skills.
VISIT TO SEBI & CIPET
Department of BBA students visited SEBI mount road office as morning schedule on 20th Nov 2018 to know current scenario of stock exchange.On the same day afternoon they visited CIPET – Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology to know industrial process, quality control, recycling, waste management ect..Through the visit of two place student theoretical and practical knowledge empowerment.
