HISTORY
The Department of Computer Applications was established during the academic year 1999-2000 affiliated to University of Madras. The duration of the degree is three years. The objective of the department is to enhance the knowledge of students in the field of computers and information technology. The syllabus and examination is based on CBCS system as per the university regulations.
Vision
The Vision of the Department is to develop the next generation of technically strong and intellectual professionals to fill the gap of the IT Industries Specifically in the rural areas of Thiruvallur and Vellore districts.
Mission
The Department Strives for building quality professionals with active and creative minds and to provide appropriate forums to develop innovative talents, practice ethical values and inculcate as in during learners.

Every year Department celebrates INSTANCIA an Inter college function on 08th Feb 2019. Various competitions like paper presentation, quiz, and E-waste, etc has been conducted during this function & invited Dr. K. Sathyanarayanan, Principal of Sindhi College of Arts and Science as chief guest.
