History of the department

History 

The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1997  affiliated to university of Madras.  The goal of Mathematics is to evolve live abstract, logical and critical thinking to enrich the students knowledge, skills and attitudes to pursue their further shades.  The syllabus and examination is based on CBCS system.

Vision

To aggrandize Confidence, to communicate their ideas and results potentially.  To have a sound conceptual understanding of mathematics to solve real, challenging and relevant problems to complete the world.

Mission

To escalate and empower students ability to become a competent user of mathematics which lead them to grow in their chosen profession as a productive citizen.
