The placement & Counseling Cell was started in the year 2007 with two exclusive Officers to satisfy the need of student’s placement.
Placement cell is functioning with a placement officer. The officer guides the students in seeking placement. The placement also gives counseling to the students ‘how to face the examinations and interview’. Many multi-national companies visited our college and conducted campus interviews. Some of the prominent companies are L & T Infotech, IBM, Igate, TCS, Infosys, Techno Soft, Global Consultant, ING Vysya Bank, Eureka Forbes, Ford, NTT Data Services, Andro Meda, First Source, etc.

A job fair is an occasion in which employers; recruiters provide an opportunity to potential Job seeking candidates. In colleges, job fairs are commonly used for entry-level job recruitment. Job seekers use this opportunity to stand out from other applicants and get an overview of what it is like to work for a company or a sector that seems interesting to the applicant.
The Placement Cell of DRBCCC Hindu College organized a job fair on 11 April 2022. The companies, which were invited to the fair, included Sutherland, Educurve, Yes Bank, ICICI, and many more organizations. This job fair was organised exclusively for Alumni and Final year students of DRBCCC Hindu College those pursuing final year graduation and post graduation. Around 1000 plus Student candidates turned up for this job fair, in which 28 companies participated and has interviewed, interacted with them, the output of which expected in couple of weeks’ time. This event was a huge success for the Placement Cell DRBCCC Hindu College, which has taken a great initiative and made complete arrangement in bridging the gap between the Student candidates and employers. Moreover, this will now be carried for years to come.
Our Placement club Members have played a very significant role in the overall success of this Job Fair where around 40 plus club members led by Club President Metilda, Club Vice President Venkatahariharan and Club Secretary Vidya have shown exemplary courage planning and execution. Indeed a Victory Meeting was conducted by the club and ALL members of the club were presented with various Awards (Virtual Awards).
Student Placement Club Inauguration 2021-2022
Students Placement club of Placement Cell, DRBCCC Hindu College was inaugurated on 6th May 2022 by the Director Dr N Rajendra Naidu. In his inaugural address he said “Through this placement club, students can attain higher standards, relationships, they can prosper in their education & profession.” He also appealed youth of today to commit themselves towards eliminating evils in the society..
Principal, Prof. Dr. Kalvikkarasi wished the students to utilize the platform of Placement club for institutionalizing better human values along with professional knowledge.
The prorgamme began with a silent prayer. Prof Dr.Mahendiran, Placement Coordinator, Department of Physics welcomed the guests & gathering. College Placement Officer
Mr Muralidharan G in his speech explained the importance, vision & mission of the club. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Dr.Jasmin Suganthi, Placement Coordinator, Dept of Commerce and finally with National Anthem.
